My Favorite F Words is my first born. My first book. My first real writing accomplishment. Well, that's a lie. My blog is probably my first writing accomplishment but this book is my first that you can actually touch and hold in your hands. Much like all babies, I thought it was perfect at first and nobody could love it more than me. And then my writing ability began to grow, and develop and change. I was like, "Wait a minute, this may not be as perfect as I thought!" We all realize this about our babies eventually don't we? Like when we don't win first prize at a baby contest and you KNEW that you absolutely had the prettiest baby there by a long shot? I KNOW I DID and we got like third. Seriously Maple Leaf Committee? I look back now and I see what an infant it was. But it's mine. It's my baby. It's still good, it's still funny and it's real. It's me. I am flawed and imperfect but I am real and I hope you will find that in my writing.

This book is a compilation of short stories about my life, the love of my family, my love of the Cowboy, and a lot about my Jesus If you don't know my Jesus, I hope my books can help with that and He will become your Jesus too. You can read it in or out of order and they will still make perfect sense although if I was picking a place to start I would begin with this book. It's like a Chicken Soup for the Soul kind of a book but I occasionally say bad words because, I'm human and I'm not proud of it but I'm a bit of a potty mouth. I'm working on that.

One word I failed to mention in my first book is my favorite F word of all which is FORGIVEN. Thanks to Jesus dying on the cross for us, we are forgiven of our sins if we just accept His gift. I hope you enjoy my first book, flaws and all, and I hope you blow coffee out of your nose at least twice and pee a little. Thank you for reading.

The Circus Waits For No One is my published book number two. It is really written book three and maybe even four but that is a long story and I'm not bitter at all. I promise I will eventually quit dwelling on all of that because I'm trying to grow as a writer. Obviously, it's a slow process. Since I am trying to grow as a writer, I hope that you will see with this book that my writing has improved a little and hopefully that will be the case as I go along. I know I'm certainly getting pickier as an editor. I go back and read things and think, "What was I thinking???" SLOW PROGRESS indeed. Like the first book, The Circus Waits For No One has easy to read short stories that you can read in order as they are published or in any order you wish and they will still make sense. You will laugh, you will cry, you will never marry a Cowboy and you will never have a wedding at your house. (I'm only kind of kidding.)
